What is the skill level of this league?

Skill level is advanced players. It is typically for players that are considered Elite or Upper Over-35 players or AAA players

Who can join this league?

This is an invitation only men's over 50 hockey league. You will need a reference from an existing member before your registration will be accepted, if you have not already played in the league as a full time or sub player.

How are sub players selected or determined?

Each team has a roster of 13 players and a goalie. We use subs each week to ensure teams have at least 10 players up to 13. On Monday we send out a text asking for sub availability. On Tuesday afternoon the captains use a draft process to select from available subs. The subs that are selected are notified Tuesday about the team and game time the sub has been selected.

At that time the sub pays the $30 fee.

What is the cost to be a substitute player?

There is no cost to join the ATL50 sublist providing you qualify and have a reference. You must be a member in good standing of USA Hockey. We are a USA Hockey approved league. The cost per game is $30 and is collected after you have been notified that you have been selected as a sub player.

How many games can I play as a sub player?

Players that register to only be a sub player can play a maximum of 10 games per season. If a player registers to be a full time player, but does not get drafted, those player can play up to 20 games per season.

Neither group of players are eligible to play in playoffs.
